In this series, we sat down with Worldline to find out more about their advanced payment solutions, their market USP, the benefits for merchants, and more about how Worldline and BR-DGE are working in partnership.

1. Please provide an overview of your organisation and what you do.

At Worldline, we are shaping a new world of payments and trusted transactions. With our advanced payments technology, local payments expertise and solutions customised for hundreds of markets and industries, we are helping millions of businesses of all sizes to realise their ambitions – faster, simpler and more securely.

2. How do you work in partnership with BR-DGE?

We see BR-DGE as a trusted technology partner with expertise in payment orchestration. The partnership enables BR-DGE’s merchants to access our scalable, trusted, and secure solutions from Worldline’s global acquiring platform, across the payment value chain.

3. How important are partnerships to your organisation?

Partnerships are crucial to the success of our organization and more importantly the success of our merchants. We work with many partners varying from banks to technology providers, and consultants. We are newly merged company, after the Worldline acquisition of Ingenico, and as result a whole portfolio of partners are now accessible to the entire Worldline merchants’ portfolio.

4. What is your market USP?

In addition to providing high performing and secure European and USA acquiring, our USP truly lies with delivering cross border solutions to merchants selling internationally. We remove borders and enable their customers to pay with their local card schemes and local payment methods in high growth markets such as LATAM, South Korea, Turkey, India and with more markets to come! All the above is done without the need for a local entity.

5. What is your biggest benefit to your clients?

Worldline has a high touch business model. We have dedicated teams that support our merchants in areas touching the entire payment acceptance eco system, such as 1) managed fraud services where a merchant can choose from two of our “out of the box” third party providers, Microsoft DFP and ACI (Retail Decisions). 2) A global dedicated Account Management team, who support merchants with the management and growth of their online payment acceptance strategy. And 3) our Payment Performance Analyses team, whose sole job is to analyze payment data and provide recommendations on how merchants can get the highest authorization rates.
