About the Role:

Our newly created Delivery function will manage new customers’ journey from point of signature until go-live, and potentially beyond in the case of account growth. Working in close partnership with our sales team and pre-sales Engineering, the VP Delivery will lead two teams – Technical Solutions Engineering and Project Management – to scope and deliver complex implementation projects and deliver outstanding customer satisfaction.

The VP Delivery’s remit will be to refine and improve our existing delivery capability to create a highly effective delivery function. A successful VP Delivery will not only generate consistently strong NPS impact, but will enable BR-DGE to deliver our product and activate revenue; the role is central to the delivery of our growth ambition. 

What you’ll be doing:

Delivering outstanding results for BR-DGE’s customers  

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of customer implementations, integrations, and complex technical onboarding. 
  • Drive continuous improvement to our delivery framework that balances pace, quality, and control and allows us to scale.  
  • Ensure delivery timelines, scope, and cost are actively managed, technically viable, and aligned with commercial targets. 
  • Drive early alignment and accountability with customers to minimise risk, avoid scope creep, and maintain project momentum. 
  • Establish clear ownership across BR-DGE and the customer to ensure delivery success and mutual responsibility.

Leading and developing the team 

  • Lead and develop the Technical Solutions Engineering (TSE) team and Project Management (PM) team, ensuring they are tightly aligned with sales, product, and engineering 
  • Set delivery standards for technical discovery, solution design, implementation and throughout the customer’s lifecycle, in partnership with our Customer team.  
  • Across both areas, ensure rigorous prioritisation and roadmap management, and equip the team with the tools and momentum to do the same. 
  • Build a high-impact team that combines technical credibility with commercial awareness and customer empathy. 
  • Provide strong leadership and coaching to developing team members. 

Aligning our functions internally 

  • Act as the connective tissue across commercial, product, and engineering teams during onboarding and delivery, aligning with and helping to improve processes in those areas in pursuit of efficiency and customer satisfaction. 
  • Ensure all internal stakeholders are clear on delivery expectations, timelines, and risk areas. 
  • Maintain a strong feedback loop into product and partner strategy based on delivery realities.

Driving revenue realisation & forecasting 

  • Own the management and projection of implementation-driven revenue ramp, working closely with finance and commercial leadership. 
  • Translate pipeline visibility into actionable delivery plans, with effort estimates and clear timelines. 
  • Track delivery performance and remove blockers to optimise throughput and accelerate revenue recognition. 

What we’re looking for:

Experience 

  • Deep experience in delivery leadership roles across technical implementation, project management, or professional services—ideally in a payments tech business, or a closely aligned fintech environment with exposure to payments. 
  • Proven success in delivering complex technical solutions for enterprise customers on time and within scope, ideally in a scaling environment. 
  • Mid-level technical knowledge of payments systems and processes, specifically card payments in UK or European markets.  
  • Experience running or partnering closely with technical pre-sales, TSEs, integration teams, engineering and customer success. 
  • Experience operating as a Head of Function or equivalent role, coordinating resources and playing a central role in delivery of complex implementation projects.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, structure, and scale high-performing delivery and solutions teams. 
  • You thrive in fast moving environments, get energy from big challenges, and don’t flinch when there’s a lot to take on - you get stuck in, prioritise fast, and bring others with you. 
  • Commercially astute with experience managing project scope, customer expectations, and internal capacity to protect revenue timelines. 
  • Excellent communicator and stakeholder manager—able to balance technical depth with executive-level clarity. 
  • Deep understanding of project scoping, onboarding, integration best practices, and technical delivery methodologies. 
  • Operationally rigorous with experience in delivery forecasting, tooling, and performance metrics. 
  • Comfortable navigating external partner ecosystems to ensure delivery quality and monetisation potential are both maximised. 
  • A passion for problem-solving. The function and role will be shaped as this person takes leadership; this is a role for someone with an appetite to carve their own path, design scalable business solutions, and deliver outstanding results.
