Our leadership team

We aren’t your conventional payments technology company.

We come from a place of frustration and invention. Understanding the challenges and potential opportunities of payments for complex organisations, because we’ve been there.

Our story started at Stagecoach, one of the most integral and iconic transport companies in the UK. Our founder, Brian Coburn transformed legacy systems and pioneered changes in payment technology that created new revenue streams and enhanced customer experiences from one end of the country to another.

Brian CoburnChief Executive Officer

Beginning his career at the age of 16 as a trainee at Stagecoach, he worked his way up through the organisation to become chief technology officer, where he gained his appreciation of the importance of payments and the problems facing merchants. His work ethic and creativity stems from his time playing in a rock band, which taught him, in his own words, “to make sure that what you produce is absolutely the best thing that you can”.

Ryan PaschkeChief Operating Officer

Over a 20 year career, Ryan has experience in diverse sectors such as energy, public sector, finance and start-ups.
Before joining BrIdge, when he wasn’t kayaking off waterfalls, Ryan was pioneering the UK’s first profitable energy from waste enterprise and adding pragmatic delivery to stagnating corporate programmes.

Thomas GillanChief Financial Officer

Thomas has held leadership positions in B2B SaaS technology businesses; working across corporate strategy, international expansion, investor engagement, exit planning as well as founding SIS Ventures.
Outside of work, he spends his time trying to keep up with his kids whilst maintaining his status as an average amateur golfer.

Jacob SpencerHead of Sales

Armed with commercial leadership roles in a range of successful Saas and eCommerce businesses Jacob immediately understood the importance and value Bridge can offer merchants. He loves nothing more than making the solution to seemingly complex payment challenges simple through the use of innovative tech. Out of work, he will usually be playing, watching or talking about sport.
