BR-DGE wins Best Early Stage or Future Payments Initiative at the Card and Payments Awards 2025

BR-DGE are thrilled to announce our latest award win, securing Best Early Stage or Future Payments Initiative at the Card and Payments Awards 2025.

The BR-DGE team attended the prestigious awards on 6th February, alongside other finalists at Marriott Grosvenor in London. BR-DGE were nominated for two categories; Best Payment Facility and Best Early Stage or Future Payments Initiative. The BR-DGE team are pleased with the outcome, the opportunity and the recognition that comes with securing the award.

The Best Early Stage or Future Payments Initiative celebrates new payment initiatives that are in the early stages of market development, creating value for users or the payments industry in general.

As always, fraud is a never-ending challenge, requiring continuous innovation to not only catch up with fraudsters but also outsmart them before they can steal customer data and cause damage. BR-DGE's entry, showcased the launch of our hybrid tokenisation solution, Vault, which addresses two pain points in one fell swoop; encrypting sensitive data and ensuring higher authorisations, impressed the suite of judges and secured the award.

The Card and Payments Awards recognise excellence and innovation across the industry and this year celebrated 20 years in practice.

The Judges commented, "This entry takes a unique approach by focusing on merchants, offering them choice across different sectors and acquirers. The secure vault and integration address a clear market need, enhancing security and flexibility. The initiative demonstrates a high level of authorisation while delivering significant value to merchants. An impressive and standout submission."
