About the role: VP of People
The VP People at BR-DGE is a strategic and operational leader responsible for developing and executing a people strategy that supports BR-DGE’s rapid growth and evolving needs. This role will focus on cultivating a high-performance culture through organisational design, competency frameworks, incentivisation, and performance management.
The VP People will be responsible for the full employee lifecycle and will lead initiatives across each stage with a focus on talent acquisition and retention, learning and development (L&D), and employee engagement, ensuring alignment with BR-DGE’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
People strategy & organisational design
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive leadership team on culture, people operations, and organisational development.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive people strategy aligned with BR-DGE’s business goals and scaling needs.
- Develop day-to-day people operations whilst building a people and culture team
- Lead organisational design initiatives to ensure structures, roles, and reporting lines support business growth and operational efficiency.
Talent attraction & acquisition
- Create an employer brand strategy that positions BR-DGE as an employer of choice in the FinTech industry.
- Take the lead on developing an effective and scalable talent acquisition strategy to attract top talent across all functions.
- Work closely with wider business to understand hiring needs, craft job descriptions and prioritise recruitment needs.
- Develop consistent and efficient recruitment processes to support sourcing, interviewing and hiring top talent. Ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Take responsibility for the management of the Employer of Record Service Talent retention and development
- Develop and implement strategies to retain talent with a focus on career growth opportunities, motivation and satisfaction.
- Design and implement competency frameworks to define role expectations, guide development, and support career progression.
- Establish a learning and development (L&D) framework that provides employees with resources for skill development, leadership growth, and career advancement.
- Develop line management training and leadership programmes to support growth Performance management & incentivisation:
- Develop a performance management system that aligns with company goals, includes clear metrics and competency expectations, and fosters continuous feedback.
- Design frameworks for OKR setting, tracking, and reviewing, ensuring clear alignment between team and organisational goals.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to link performance management with meaningful incentivisation programs, ensuring rewards align with contributions and reinforce desired

- Lead DEI strategies to create an inclusive workplace that values diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences.
- Integrate DEI principles into recruitment, talent development, and career advancement
Compliance & risk management
- Ensure all HR policies and practices comply with applicable laws and
- Develop frameworks to manage HR-related risks and maintain a fair, safe, and compliant work environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a senior HR/People leadership role within a high-growth or scaling
- Strong expertise in organisational design, competency frameworks, performance management, and incentivisation.
- Proven success in building and scaling people teams, including identifying and implementing tools and systems to support a highly effective people
- Strategic mindset with experience building scalable HR frameworks aligned with business
- Demonstrated success in fostering a high-performance culture and delivering a positive employee experience.
- A hands-on approach, with the ability and passion to manage both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all
- Experience in DEI program development is a plus
- Knowledge of employment law and compliance
- Experience in managing an Employer of Record service and hiring internationally
