About the role: Senior Communications Manager (UK-based only)
The Senior Communications Manager is a new role which will lead all aspects of stakeholder relations and communications for BR-DGE. Working closely with the VP of Marketing, the Senior Communications Manager will be responsible for establishing BR-DGE as a thought leader and for actively engaging with a range of industry stakeholders, as well as supporting our brand presence, culture initiatives and our employer brand.
What you'll be doing:
PR, media relations and thought leadership
- Work with the VP of Marketing and our PR agency to develop PR strategies that help build BR-DGE’s market presence and our standing as a thought leader. Identify and secure thought leadership opportunities, including speaker slots, awards entries and topical article opportunities that support our positioning and overall company objectives.
External stakeholder communications
- Manage communications programmes that actively engage our key stakeholder groups, including customers, investors, influencers and partners. This is a brand-new area of activity that will need building from the ground up.
Internal communications
- Support the People, Exec and Leadership teams, as well as our Culture Squad with designing and delivering sustained communications programmes that support knowledge-sharing, team working and a positive working environment for our BR-DGE Builders.
Employer brand
- Support the People team and hiring managers to attract high quality candidates, by highlighting our culture and life at BR-DGE.
What We’re Looking For:
The right candidate will ideally have 5-8 years’ experience in communications, with demonstrable success in both internal and external communications, preferably within a B2B scaleup environment. A background in leading PR programmes is a must, since this role will play a key part in managing this on behalf of the VP of Marketing. Experience delivering holistic internal communications programmes for a fully remote workforce would be a huge advantage, as would a background in fintech or payments.
The role will be hands-on and will play a key role in supporting the VP of Marketing to develop successful strategies to actively communicate with our stakeholder groups. Investor relations experience and partner marketing experience are desirable.
The role would suit someone who wants to focus on a dedicated communications role, and is comfortable in an agile, fast-moving environment.
While this role will not have any direct reports to begin with, this is likely to change in the next 2 years.
What we offer:
- Salary c. up to £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Remote working allowance
- 33 days holiday including public holidays
- Birthday off
- Flexible and remote working
- Family healthcare
- Life insurance
- Employee Assistance Programme
- A culture that champions rapid career growth and progression
- Investment in your learning and development
- Regular team events & socials
