About the role: Head of Demand Generation (UK-based only)
The Head of Demand Generation is a new role which will lead all aspects of the demand generation function within the marketing team. Working closely with the VP of Marketing, Senior Communications Manager and other members of the team, the Head of Demand Generation will be responsible for driving pipeline growth and supporting the conversion of high-quality leads.
What you'll be doing:
Events & sponsorships
- Manage our events and sponsorships across industry conferences and own hosted events, including physical presence, and holistic promotional campaigns for those events.
Sales enablement & lead nurture
- Develop and deliver lead nurture programmes that support movement through the funnel and work closely with the sales team to provide relevant sales enablement materials that support lead conversion.
Content & campaign strategy
- Lead and manage a comprehensive content marketing strategy for BR-DGE, including email, web content, blog and editorial calendar. Work with the VP of Marketing to implement first steps into 1:1 and 1: few ABM.
Digital marketing
- Manage our SEO and PPC strategies as well as website content as a supporting part of our holistic campaigns.
Marketing performance reporting
- Implement up-front KPIs and measures for all campaigns. Monitor, evaluate and adjust to ensure campaign and lead nurture effectiveness, including using insight from the sales team to ensure marketing performance is continually optimised.
What We’re Looking For:
The right candidate will ideally have 8-10 years’ experience in B2B marketing, with demonstrable success in all areas of demand generation, particularly with designing and delivering holistic multi-channel campaigns. A background in payments or fintech experience is a must. Knowledge of merchant payments and experience in marketing to enterprise businesses would both be a huge advantage.
The role will be hands-on and will play a key role in supporting the VP of Marketing to develop successful strategies to actively reach and engage our target audiences. A strong working knowledge of SEO, PPC, content strategies, website user journeys and blog management is critical. A strong background working with HubSpot and a good understanding of ABM is also preferred.
The role would suit someone who has already held a dedicated demand generation role in a scaleup fintech and is comfortable in an agile, fast-moving environment.
While this role will not have any direct reports to begin with, this is likely to change in the next 1-2 years, so line management experience is also preferred.
What we offer:
- Salary c. up to £80,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Remote working allowance
- 33 days holiday including public holidays
- Birthday off
- Flexible and remote working
- Family healthcare
- Life insurance
- Employee Assistance Programme
- A culture that champions rapid career growth and progression
- Investment in your learning and development
- Regular team events & socials
