About the role: VP of Marketing

The VP of Marketing is a newly created role at BR-DGE and will be a key member of the leadership team, reporting directly to the Executive Team.

The VP of Marketing will lead our experienced marketing team and will develop and ensure execution of the marketing strategy to drive revenue growth, enhance brand visibility, accelerate our go-to-market approach and establish us as thought leaders in the industry.

This is a hands-on role for a strategic leader who can balance long-term brand-building with immediate demand-generation activities, ensuring that our marketing aligns with business goals and contributes to our marketing leading position in the payments industry.

Key responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and drive a multi-channel marketing strategy that supports the achievement of BR-DGE’s growth objectives through demand generation activities
  • Collaborate with the executive, leadership and other cross functional teams to shape the company's strategic direction ensuring marketing activities are aligned
  • Lead the marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and performance excellence
  • Work with sales leadership to establish clear goals and KPIs for lead generation, lead qualification, and pipeline growth
  • Implement account-based marketing (ABM) strategies to target high-value accounts and build deeper relationships with prospects

Brand Building & Awareness

  • Develop innovative strategies to increase brand awareness, market share, and customer loyalty
  • Establish BR-DGE as thought-leaders in the payments industry, developing messaging and content that resonates with target audiences and elevates our presence in the market
  • Monitor the payments landscape including market trends, competitor activities, and customer behaviour to identify opportunities, risks and ensure BR-DGE is responsive to changes

Product Marketing

  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for new products and services in collaboration with Product, Sales and Customer Success teams

Marketing Operations

  • Identify and establish strategic marketing partnerships to support achievement of objectives
  • Provide support and guidance as required to the marketing team to ensure the effective management of day-to-day operations and delivery of marketing initiatives
  • Own the overall marketing budgeting, ensuring the effective allocation of spend and resources

Data insights

  • Provide a regular cadence of reports to the executive team and Board on agreed and defined marketing performance, ROI, and key metrics
  • Establish the use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes

What we’re looking for:

  • Extensive marketing experience including at least 5 years in a marketing leadership role in a similar environment
  • Proven track record of developing and executing highly successful marketing strategies
  • Background in driving brand presence in a highly competitive industry
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand management, and product marketing
  • Experience in implementing Account Based Marketing strategies and initiatives
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a passion for developing and empowering talent
  • Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions
  • Deep understanding and previous experience in the payments and/or deep tech industry
  • Knowledge of the latest marketing tools, technologies, and best practices
  • Experience in scaling marketing operations in a high-growth B2B environment
